Anyone have any gig posters from Soul Coughing and/or Mike Doughty over the years willing to sell? I've searched eBay and have most on there. i'm just looking for Soul Coughing or Mike Doughty to be the top Bill on the poster. If you have any Soul Coughing - Derek Hess posters and willing to negotiate I'm already interested.

Heureka!

As it turns out, my first assumption was correct. The documentary is neither called "Leaving New York" nor "Leaving Manhattan". Actually it's "Facing New York" made by students of the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (German Film and Television Academy Berlin).*

Lucky Dog: Fortunately I found an incomplete recording of the film on one of my old CD's. And it even contains the (or one) part where Soul Couging tracks are played in the background!**

I did a bit of quick searching and the only thing I could find on the web was this link:

It looks like board posts circa 2000-2001, but it has that familiar green background of the old site so it may have your post if you had made it that long ago. Good luck

Hi everyone. It's been a while.

Way back I posted something on the old boards: There was a documentary on German TV* about New York City that made use of a Soul Coughing song. I was pretty sure that it's name was "Leaving New York", until I re-googled it today and had to realize there were no hits.

Two assumptions: 1) I forgot the correct name of the documentary. 2) The internets forgot about the film, which wasn't that well-known anyway.

If there were an archive of the old scug boards, I could look up the correct title. Is there? DJ Fac, do you remmber?
