Great track, one of my Soul Coughing favourites! I also remember Circles being available in a mixable (to a degree) format - some nice bass/guitar/loops...I don't have them anymore :(

I've found a few different websites with it, but here's one that has a lot of rare songs: http://unheard78.blogspot.com/2009/05/soul-coughing-rarities-mega-post.html

It has Wooly Imbibe on it, and it sounds pretty good. Hope this is what you were looking for.

Well, I think that might be the best version becuase I got mine elsewhere and it also sounds poor. If you like the song in general, tehre are a couple of live versions that I've found to be decent versions. One of them actually is on ITunes on the "Live Rarities" album. Of course, as Doughty's review of the album on ITunes states, they seem to have spelled the majority of the song titles incorrectly so a search for the song will end up matchless. Just search Soul Coughing and the album will be listed. The other good live version is on the website Internet Music Database. This website was given okays by a ton of bands, including Soul Coughing and Doughty, to allow user to download free full concerts. If you've never been on it and you are interested in some Live Soul Coughing then clear your evening calendar because they have 16 shows on there. Here's a direct link to the bands available:

A good version of Wooly Imbibe is on the Mercury Lounge setlist, 7-25-95. Hope this is helpful.

YEARS ago, I downloaded the studio version of Wooly Imbibe from the Soul C site...love it to this day. The only thing is, the quality is really pretty weak. Is there a better quality version out there somewhere? I'd love to buy it on iTunes or whatever but as you know, it's not available.

anyone?
