I've had no luck getting the Skittish Sessions in it's entirety via internet. I find a few songs here and there, but not all 18 songs. Can anyone help me out?
also, I was reading through some forum (trying to find the skittish sessions), and came across someone who said they had a "bootleg" version of Haughty Melodic, which included songs off the album in very rough "un-produced" forms. Anyone know if this guy was bluffing?

I got in touch with this fellow (who has made it clear that he is not willing to share these files with me or anyone) who is the one who said he had the bootleg version of Haughty Melodic, and he said he got the files on a peertopeer file sharing network. the track list is 1. Unsingable Name 2. Madeline and Nine 3. Looking 4. I'm Still Drinking in my Dreams 5. American Car 6. I Hear the Bells 7. Tremendous Brunnettes (which does NOT have Dave Matthews) 8. Grey Ghost 9. Sunken Eyed Girl 10. Busting up a Starbucks 11. White Lexus. so if anyone has these please share!

HM bootleg has basically the demos of the songs minus Your Misfortune. No Dave Matthews on Tremendous Brunettes.
I actually had some of these (namely "Looking", "Unsingable Name" and "Tremendous Brunettes" but I deleted them when I bought the actual disc.

Well, I made lots of demoes (demos?). Is it all-acoustic? Drums/drum machine? Sounds like they were recorded live? Maybe sounds like the H. Melodic versions, minus a bunch of parts?
Now, let me emphasize--just curious. I don't have a problem with these recordings being out there, making the rounds.

There are drum machines, yes. And basically yeah, they sound like the album versions for the most part; just some things included in the final mix are not there.

That site has some other SC/Mike Doughty gems if you dig around a bit.
I also have a copy of the HM demos that I'll happily share if you don't mind Mike. The biggest difference is "Still Drinking in my Dreams" is included while "His Truth is Marching On" isn't. I saw on twitter that you wanted to keep Still Drinking for a future project so I wanted to double check before posting it.
